TEMI Foundation was born from the commitment to transform maternal and child health in the Andean rural communities of Ecuador.
We work hand in hand with the Cayambe-Pedro Moncayo Health District to implement evidence-based interventions that strengthen the mother-child bond from pregnancy through childhood.

We develop observational studies and database analyses to generate scientific evidence that guides our interventions.

We strengthen the skills of health professionals and community stakeholders in maternity, breastfeeding, and childhood topics.

We implement specialized spaces that promote and support breastfeeding in health centers.

Our Intervention Area
We focus our efforts on the Andean rural area of Cayambe-Pedro Moncayo, Ecuador, where we have developed deep knowledge of the social dynamics of local mothers and families.
