New breastfeeding room benefits mothers in Cangahua

Cangahua Health Center officially inaugurated its new Breastfeeding Support Room, implemented through joint work between TEMI Foundation and the Cayambe-Pedro Moncayo Health District.

This third implementation marks an important milestone in expanding our services, bringing specialized care to one of the most rural communities in our intervention area. The room features:

Comfortable chairs for breastfeeding
Educational materials about breastfeeding
Warm decoration with local cultural elements
Space for family companions
Mothers from Cangahua and surrounding communities now have access to a dignified and welcoming space for breastfeeding, significantly contributing to maternal and child welfare in the area.
