Successful training benefits 50 health professionals

Fifty health professionals from the Cayambe-Pedro Moncayo District participated in the specialized training program on breastfeeding promotion, protection, and support, organized by TEMI Foundation.

The program, developed during July, included:

  • Breastfeeding counseling techniques
  • Management of common breastfeeding difficulties
  • Breastfeeding promotion in Andean rural contexts
  • Effective use of implemented support rooms

«The response from professionals has been exceptional. We see real commitment to improving the care they provide to breastfeeding mothers,» noted one of the program facilitators.

This training strengthens healthcare personnel skills and ensures the sustainability of our interventions’ impact in the region.
