Last August, TEMI Foundation received official recognition from the Cayambe-Pedro Moncayo Health District for its invaluable support in implementing the Breastfeeding Support Room at Cayambe Hospital.

This room, which daily benefits dozens of mothers and babies, has significantly increased exclusive breastfeeding rates in the region. The space features specialized furniture, educational materials, and a warm environment that facilitates the breastfeeding process.

The Cayambe Hospital breastfeeding room joins those already implemented at Tabacundo and Cangahua health centers, thus consolidating a comprehensive support network for breastfeeding throughout the intervention area.
